For our EMEA region we are looking for an experienced ‘Product & Application Specialist’ (PAS) who can act as a sparring partner to our Key Account Customers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

You will be part of our Scandinavian Sales Team consisting of 12 people. The organization is formally based in the company headquarter in Aarhus, but obviously you will visit here only a few days per month and spend most of your time with customers throughout the region.

You will work closely with colleagues in the Sales organization to ensure that the design requests from customers are translated into product solutions.

Areas of Responsibility

With reference to the Sales Director for Martin Professional Scandinavia, the primary objective of the PAS is to assist in increasing sales to new and existing customers. You will be responsible for leading and executing new product demonstrations, customer and internal training and seminars, and for supporting direct sales and project sales. Furthermore a key activity will be to manage relationships across Scandinavia to top lighting designers (LD´s). In co-operation with HQ Demo you will also help manage the product demo stock making sure the right product mix is available and maintained - and that the stock value is kept under control.

In this position, you will be addressing customers within all of our markets/business areas. You will interact with HQ functions, feeding back market intelligence on existing and upcoming products, and provide feedback to the HQ training programme and accountable when developing adequate product training material.

Working Tasks

Support sales with customer product demonstration, seminars and local exhibitions
Maintain and develop relationship with VIP LD’s across Scandinavia ensuring that they are always kept up to date on our product range
Responsible for dealer staff – and other customer - product training
Product demo stock handling and maintenance
Conduct product presentations at local sales meetings
Interact with service department for technical update
Organize and lead local roadshows, events and exhibitions Act as on-site problem solver on critical customer product issues
Assist local service department in validating product documentation
Liaison to HQ R&D in the product development process prototyping and field testing
Continuous feedback on product performance to local service department and HQ product management
Assist HQ training accountable in the development of training tools for the product training programmes
Qualifications / Required Skills

5+ years related experience
Electrician, electronic technician or other similar technical background
Experience within technical selling will be an advantage
Language skills: Excellent English; Swedish, Norwegian or Danish as mother language
Solid presentation skills
Familiar with MS Office and MS CRM
Experience from the lighting industry will be considered a major advantage

We expect you to be working out of your home office, which is in Sweden, Denmark or Norway. You can expect close to 100 travel days per year.
