Martin’s rapidly expanding range of LED lighting solutions will feature prominently at Pro Light + Sound 2009 (Hall 9.0, Walkway B, Stand 35). On display will be the LC Plus™ Series of LED video panels with new generation technology and an IP65 rating; EvenLED™, a modular LED system for extremely even field projection; and FlexDOT™, a lightweight yet bright string of LED pixels for customized video solutions.

Also on display will be Martin’s first LED moving heads, the MAC 401 Dual™, a powerful LED washlight with a unique double-sided design that gives it dual functionality; and the MAC 301 Wash™, a compact, high-power LED washlight with powerfully fast zoom. Another innovative launch will be Martin easyStrip™, a simple yet highly capable plug-and-play LED striplight for interior enhancement. Martin’s highly successful 1500 watt MAC III Profile™ will also be shown.

Several new control solutions in the Maxxyz and Maxedia ranges will feature as will ColorFox, the first lighting controller specifically designed for architectural use with dynamic color changing fixtures. A full complement of Jem and Magnum smoke machines will also be on display.

Martin is also proud to be showing a new type of high intensity plasma light. Plasma offers a host of advantages over current HID and LED sources such as greater performance, greater cost benefits, and a smaller environmental footprint.

LC Plus™ Series: The LC Plus™ is a modular system of semi-transparent LED video panels with new generation technology that closely integrates light, video and set design for all new possibilities in indoor and outdoor staging. Designed for the demanding rental and staging market, yet equally suitable for fixed installations such as retail environments and outdoor architecture, the LC Plus is an easy-to-use, all-in-one video solution. The LC Plus offers several key advantages over other types of LED panels including an innovative P3 technology platform for no-hassle processing and signal distribution, low weight, superior color and brightness uniformity, and true IP65 protection.

EvenLED™: EvenLED™ is a panel of high powered 6-watt RGB LEDs used to back-project a completely even field of light over a projection surface. Each color features smooth 16 bit resolution and waves or gradation of color across a surface is easily achieved. This modular system has many advantages over traditional cyclorama lighting including greater evenness of field and a longer operational life time. Power consumption is less as well with less heat generated. EvenLED is totally convection cooled for silent operation (no fans) and is exceptionally service-friendly.

FlexDOT™: FlexDOT™ is a lightweight yet bright string of LED pixels that allows designers to break free from the flat, rectangular format of conventional LED displays and create customized video solutions with maximum artistic flexibility and a minimum of effort. Easy to handle and simple to use, FlexDOT is made up of individually controllable, intelligent, full color pixels mounted on a flexible cable to provide unlimited options for enhancing interior and exterior spaces.

MAC 401 Dual™: The MAC 401 Dual™ is a creatively fresh and versatile LED moving head washlight with an innovative double-sided design that gives it flexible dual functionality, for example as a double washlight or a future LED video panel. The unique plug-in feature, combined with a robust build and low weight, adds a whole new dimension to touring and rental applications. With the MAC 401 Dual, colors are fully blended before they leave each lens, eliminating the problem of rainbow shadows and multi-colored lens look. The MAC 401 Dual includes a linear zoom for beam spreads from tight to a wide wash - and it’s fast!

MAC 301 Wash™: The MAC 301 Wash™ is an LED moving head washlight that features a powerfully fast zoom with an impressive zoom range. It is capable of producing a wide range of exceptional colors from rich saturated shades to uniform pastels through the entire zoom range. The fixture’s 108 high-power LEDs produce a bright and well-defined beam and its compact, lightweight design make it ideal for rental applications, television use, night-time venues and more. Appropriately quiet for noise sensitive environments, it offers all the reliability, energy and cost benefits of a highly efficient LED luminaire.

easyStrip™: Martin easyStrip™ is a modular, plug-and-play LED striplight designed to enhance interior spaces in a wide variety of applications. Built for ultimate ease-of-use, it is a simple yet highly capable dynamic lighting solution. With full spectrum RGB color mixing, a choice of diffuser lenses and an exceptionally easy means of installation, easyStrip is ideal for color enhancement in clubs, bars and restaurants. It is also an excellent decorative lighting effect for leisure environments and retail applications or anywhere a low maintenance, decorative color effect is required.

MAC III Profile™: The MAC III Profile™ is the first product in Martin’s third generation of award-winning MAC moving heads. It features an exceptional and perfectly balanced package of performance features, such as outstanding color mixing with a broader color range plus deeper more vibrant hues, a fat beam look with great beam definition, up to 75% more output than current 1200 W profile fixtures, wide zoom range, new gobos, animation effects, very fast effects and movements and low noise cooling. The MAC III also takes modularity one step further, making it very service friendly and improving overall fixture reliability.

ColorFox VX01™: Martin’s ColorFox VX01™ is the first lighting controller specifically designed for architectural use with dynamic color changing fixtures. This incredibly simple control solution allows users to customize and personalize a variety of architectural lighting settings. This intuitive controller allows for easy playback of static and dynamic scenes and provides a simple-to-use interface for users to alter the hue, saturation and intensity of their surroundings.

Plasma: Martin is dedicated to producing the leading, most advanced plasma light on the market. Its advantages are many; yet implementing a new technology in products without exhaustive research and stringent testing can have risky consequences. Only through a thorough research process and substantial investment can plasma’s true potential be unlocked. Martin is leading this intensive effort, including development of advanced optical and cooling systems for optimized performance.

Maxxyz™ Modules: The Maxxyz™ Modules allow users to design their own console. Based on the modular design of the Maxxyz Compact™, this new range of stand-alone modules has been developed to complement the Maxxyz™ system. These new modules allow for customization of the Maxxyz™ around the user and the specific control demands of a show. Five innovative modules are available to build a custom console or to be used with Maxxyz PC™, Maxxyz™ or Maxxyz Compact™ and all of them can be used table-top, mounted in a 19” rack system or in the new Maxxyz™ Module Frame.

- Cerebrum module: The heart of the system contains an embedded processer, a 12” touch-screen and two master faders. A single Cerebrum module supports 32 Universes of Artnet over the included RJ45 connection.
